Chuck and Blair Challenge: Wedding Attire

The first time I thought about what C and B would be wearing at their wedding, was when I had to write in one of my fan fictions. I thought that Blair loved old Hollywood icons like Audrey Hepburn so much that her gown had to be simple yet detailed and it had to enlighten her pretty face. Since Leighton portrays Blair and she doesn’t have a big chest and she’s really tiny, the dress that suits her figure the most is either with no cleavage exposed or with a neckline that makes it seem as if she has a bigger chest. I honestly decided to pick a dress with no cleavage exposed because Blair is not the type to wear plunging necklines and I’ve decided not to use a gown with a tight corset to pump her breasts, because that’s how the dress she wore when she married Louis was. I opted this white gown by Elie Saab. A detailed gown with embroidery that is modern but also reminds me of 1950. She would match the gown with satin white pumps that’ll make her seem taller, and a swarovski clutch. She would wear a bridal headband instead of a tiara because I think she wants to appear great and royal but not too much; she’s already had her royal wedding once and she wants to put aside that part of her life, haha. Regarding Chuck, I thought he used suits too much but he wouldn’t wear a tux with a long tail jacket, so I opted with a sober but colored tuxedo with a regular jacket by Ralph Lauren. Of course with a bowtie and a vest. I’ve chosen lilac/purple color because I believe it suits the character a lot. Generally I think their clothes will have to be simple but also special. They stand out without wearing any eccentric outfits because they know how to charm people with their savoir-fare alone.
